World Vision Kenya, through the BORESHA (Building Opportunities for Resilience in the Horn of Africa) project, seeks to promote economic development and greater resilience, particularly among vulnerable groups in Mandera county. The project envisions more resilient and better prepared communities against climate shocks. The IBLI team is providing technical and capacity support in the implementation of this project, whose aim is to have at least 2000 households accessing Index Based Livestock Insurance either through voluntary purchase from insurance companies or via the subsidize government led scheme - Kenya Livestock Insurance Program (KLIP).
